These are the words spoken this week by one of our missionaries in Ukraine.
“I am ready to die.”
The world is witnessing the country of Ukraine in torment, and many of the images seem unbelievable. Children kissing their fathers goodbye as they stay behind to fight the greatest war of their lives…
and innocent lives lost.
Please pray for our First Love International missionaries who are presently serving in Ukraine.

Here is a photo of Rosa who shares the love of Jesus to orphans in Zhytomyr. She is determined to stay behind, and her heroic words in an email to our organization yesterday brought tears to our eyes.
“I’m at peace about the decision to stay no matter what — I am ready to die serving Jesus until my final breath. I have sent my will to my home church. I spoke yesterday to Steve and Susan (First Love Member Care Directors) – I don’t want to be rescued or saved or taken to America if I am gravely injured . . . .
Again total peace from God about all of this and I pray that He allows me to see the day when Ukraine is free and at peace once again so we can begin to heal this broken land.”
You might be wondering, besides prayer —
Is there anything else I can do?
God is leading us to gather funds to bring hope and love to these desperate and hurting people.
We are calling this campaign —
OPERATION HOPE UKRAINE
Our goal is $50K.
100% of all funds received will be sent to our First Love missionaries presently serving in Ukraine as they provide food and shelter to many in need.
